Withdrawing funds to your bank account
How payouts work, timelines, and how to set up your bank details.
How payouts work
Funds raised on Kayana Aid flow directly to the charity's connected Stripe account, not to individual fundraisers. If you're fundraising on behalf of a charity, the charity manages their own payouts to their bank.
If you're a charity administrator, see the "Withdrawing funds" article in the Charities section for full details.
Payout timelines
Kayana Aid reviews settled donations in a weekly payout run. A donation must first complete its hold period: normally 3 days for an established, verified charity and 7 days for a new or unverified account.
Payouts remain on hold while identity checks, bank verification, or a Trust & Safety review is outstanding. Gift Aid is paid separately after HMRC sends it to the charity; it never delays the original donation payout.
Payout fees
Each successful donation has an authorisation fee and a card-processing percentage. The rate depends on the card type and currency and is deducted before payout. Check the Pricing page and the live fee breakdown in your dashboard for the rates that apply to your account.
