Withdrawing funds to your bank account

How payouts work, timelines, and how to set up your bank details.

How payouts work

Funds raised on Kayana Aid flow directly to the charity's connected Stripe account, not to individual fundraisers. If you're fundraising on behalf of a charity, the charity manages their own payouts to their bank.

If you're a charity administrator, see the "Withdrawing funds" article in the Charities section for full details.

Payout timelines

Stripe typically pays out to connected bank accounts on a rolling 7-day schedule. The first payout after connecting a new bank account may take up to 14 days due to identity verification. Once established, payouts are automatic and require no manual action.

Payout fees

Kayana Aid deducts a platform fee before payout. The current fee schedule is available on the Pricing page. Stripe's payment processing fee (typically 1.4% + 20p for European cards) is also deducted. Both fees are shown transparently on every donation receipt.
