Withdrawing funds to your bank account

Donations flow to your charity's connected Stripe account. Kayana Aid keeps Stripe bank payouts in manual mode and initiates an eligible payout in the weekly payout run; payouts are not released when a campaign ends.

A settled donation must complete its hold period before it can be included: normally 3 days for an established, verified charity and 7 days for a new or unverified account.

Payouts are paused while your identity or bank details still need verification, or while your account is under Trust & Safety review. Donations already included in a completed payout are not recalled automatically.

Gift Aid follows a separate process and is paid only after HMRC sends the claimed amount. We never hold your donation payout while waiting for Gift Aid.

Use Kayana Aid's payment setup to update your payout bank account through Stripe's secure hosted flow. Kayana Aid uses Custom connected accounts, so there is no Stripe Express Settings → Payouts page. A new bank account may require verification before payouts resume.
